Due to the custom nature of the products sold we are unable to offer refunds. Pluto's Palette offers a one year warranty on all products for faulty hardware or errors in craftsmanship. We highly recommend that highly reactive dogs that are prone to lunging and pulling upgrade their hardware (swivel carabiners and/or COBRA buckles) which have significantly higher breaking loads. We also highly recommend opting for solid brass or stainless steel hardware.
If you have a faulty item and feel you may be eligible for warranty replacement please reach out as soon as possible with photos and an explanation of what happened at the time of failure. Where possible, a replacement part will be sent out, however the item will be replaced in totality if needed.
The following examples are to show what would or would not be covered however this list is not exhaustive.
Examples of faulty hardware:
- buckle does not stay closed even without tension applied
- Chicago screw rips through material
- metal hardware breaks
Examples not covered under warranty:
- dog lunges causing a buckle or snap to break
- dog chews through leash or collar (BioThane is NOT chew-proof)
- dog consumes an item
- defect or warping after exposure to heat or DEET
- leaving items submerged for a significant period
- rusting of hardware
- tarnishing or colour loss in hardware
- hardware tarnishing against BioThane
